Quick Gate

Instantaneous removal of static electricity from charged objects by simply passing them through the gate

  • Static electricity is removed instantaneously by simply passing the molded product through the gate.
  • Ionizers remove static electricity in 2 to 3 seconds.
  • Quick Gate removes static electricity in 0.15 seconds, based on actual measurements.
  • Different from ionizers, Quick Gate does not require airflow.
  • The product does not re-charge the static electricity, in principle.

Instantaneous removal of static electricity without air blowing

Quick Gate has none of the weaknesses of ionizers, such as static removal time, blower noise, dust, and re-charging.

Weakness of a conventional ionizer

  • Takes a long time to remove electricity.
  • Noisy blower
  • Dust is blown by the wind.
  • Ozone smell (harmful)
  • Ions may separate and recharge after static removal

Features of Quick Gate

  • Instantaneous static removal even from high-speed objects
  • Able to remove static from either positively or negatively charged objects
  • No blower, no noise, no dust dispersal
  • Low ozone emission (only when passing through)
  • It does not re-charge the object, in principle

Static electricity can be removed from objects by generating corona discharges using static electricity energy.

HARMO's Quick Gate uses special wires as electrodes to which high voltage is applied. The potential difference between the electrode and the object expands, effectively concentrating lines of electric force even over long distances and reliably generating corona discharges.

 

In addition, because lines of electric force are formed at the speed of light, instantaneous static removal is possible even for objects moving at high speed. This static removal method takes the energy of static electricity and converts it into heat, light, and sound.
